Increasing the Power of the Power Process

I’m continually looking for faster ways to remove limitations and to claim more of our power.  Last week I tested adding the “Wonder Woman” or “Superman” pose while doing the Power Process and it really boosts the impact of the Power Process. It worked so well, I wanted to get you this information out right away.

Here is a quick 40 second video from Amy Cuddy (a leading social psychologist) on the benefits of doing the this pose for two minutes.  Here are a few of the things she mentions:

Decreases Cortisol (Stress Hormone)
Higher pain threshold
More willing to take risks
More likely to do well in stressful situations.

How to do the pose.  Stand like Wonder Woman with your hands on your hips and feet about shoulder distance apart. Amy Cuddy’s studies recommend doing it for two minutes.  I now use this pose for the first two first two minutes while I’m listening to the Power Process.
